Swiss Football Association president Ralph M Zloczower has
ended his two-year term as chairman of the UEFA EURO 2008T organising
body and has handed the baton to his Austrian Football Association counterpart
Friedrich Stickler.
'All on track'
Zloczower chaired his seventh and last meeting of the Euro 2008 SA board
at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, before he officially passes
the reins to Stickler in January. Reviewing his tenure of the tournament
organisers, he said he was satisfied with the progress of the UEFA EURO
2008T project and that preparations for the event were "well on track".
"Everything is going according to plan," Zloczower said. "I
have had a very interesting time - it has been exciting to be part of
the development and progress of this major project. I wish my successor,
Friedrich Stickler, as much satisfaction as chairman as I have had."
