HIDDINK: WE'VE MADE PROGRESS
The Russian national side manager Guus Hiddink is sure the team have
made sginificant progress.
Russia have to face Croatia today in Zagreb in the framework
of Euro-2008 qualifying round.
Guus Hiddink gave a comprehensive analysis of the coming clash at a press-conference.
"Andorra clash proved that we are very strong whereas Andorra are
too weak," said Guus Hiddink.
"However, Croatia clash promises to be a completely different matter
since Croatia lead the group and their coaching staff can count on very
experienced players."
"As for our team, we don't have much to worry about but for Bilyaletdinov's
injury."
"It is not clear yet whether he will be fit to play or not."
"Ahead of Andorra clash I thought of a tactical scheme for the battle
with Croatia."
"However, I will name the squad only during the pre-match directions."
"We are here in Zagreb to win for if the team are afraid of their
opponents they'de better not come out on the field."
