The Russian team captain Sergei Semak states Russians are
not afraid of Spanish champs.
"All players understand the significance of the coming decider as
it is likely to be the most difficult at the tournament", said Semak
to Sport Express.
"Spain were tipped as favorites, however we are not afraid of them
at all."
"We know that if we manage to demonstrate the same level of football
as in the previous games, our chances to reach the final would increase."
"Russia lost to Spain in group stage, but there is no sense in comparing
these two games."
"Mistakes are inevitable in football so it's impossible to eliminate
them at all."
"As for our faults in Group D opener, we have already analyzed them
and tried not to repeat them in future."
"On one hand we have enough information about our challengers, but
on the other hand they have already defeated us, that can't be classified
as positive experienced."
"Spaniards are strong, but this time they have no right for mistakes."
