The most likely starting eleven for the Russian team is
Akinfeev - Anyukov, Ignashevits, Kolodin, Zhirkov - Semak, Semshov, Zyryanov
- Torbinsky, Arshavin - Pavlyuchenko.
This conclusion could be made after the yesterday's training session of
the team.
By the way all twenty football players are healthy and trained together.
According to the team's doctor Andrei Grishanov nobody of the team has
contraindications for the match with Wales.
Sport Express correspondent asked Roman Pavlyuchenko if he had started
to learn English and Roman answered: "I speak only English now!"
Yuri Zhirkov had a son born this night and we congratulated him with this
pleasant event.
"Thanks a lot," answered the CSKA midfielder. "By the way
I was present at the act of delivery. I think we will name him Dmitri."
And at last interesting news. According to Sport Express information a
fax from Tottenham was received yesterday in the Russian Football Federation.
The English club unobtrusively asks not to let Pavlyuchenko play in the
match against Wales. Their request is explained by the last injury of
the forward. But ex-player of Spartak is not likely to miss out the match
and will most likely appear in the starting line-up.
Yesterday evening the Welsh national team arrived in Moscow and is going
to train on Lokomotiv Stadium today.
