"I came to Austria with great pleasure," said
Guus. "But not because our team have won bronze here. I just wanted
to find out whether there is something new in coaching business, to recall
with the friends the events of the last Euro."
"I can say that I already have in mind the squad for the forthcoming
match against Germany. But of course there will be some changes in the
course of preparations."
"My assistant Igor Korneev visited the match Zenit vs. CSKA so I
know everything about every player. I know that the match was spectacular
but in fact there was nothing surprising about any of the players."
"I cannot believe that there can be a lack of any players in the
team that were in the final of Euro 2008. Though Germans seem to be raising
an alarm that they have no good central defenders. To my mind the German
national team is as strong as it was a month ago."
"I have been in Dorthsmouth before it is only two-three hours from
the Netherlands. And it is not long distance for Dutch. So I think there
will be many Dutch on the match supporting the Russian team. I even know
some people who are definitely going to come to the match."
"My future plans are to return to Moscow."
