Euro 2012 preparations not affected by economic crisis
Kyiv - The economic crisis has not impacted the allocation of funds from
the local and regional budgets to prepare for the finals of the Euro 2012
European Football Championship, according to the first deputy head of
the Kyiv city administration, Anatoliy Holubchenko.
"Euro 2012 is being fully financed both from the city and national
budgets," he said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.
He said that investors had "found themselves in a very difficult
situation."
"I think this is a problem not only for Kyiv, but also for all host
cities, including those in Poland," Holubchenko said.
