On Monday Sport Express reported that Saturn and Khimki could unite. And yesterday on the official website of the Moscow Region government the following information appeared:

"Due to the difficult financial and economic situation the Football Federation of the Moscow Region, the Committee of the Region for Physical Education and Sport, the management of both clubs Saturn and Khimki have come to an agreement that it is necessary to unite both teams to save the football potential and traditions of the region.

The united team will represent the Moscow Region in the national Premier League and is to be called Saturn.

The squad of the team will be formed on principles of parity and the new Saturn will be located in Ramenskoe holding its home matches on Saturn stadium and Arena Khimki.

The participants of the agreement are sure that the supporters and the whole football community of the region will intelligently accept this decision."

Thus the creation of the Moscow region team release one place in the Premier League and somebody should take it to keep the even number of the team-members and balanced schedule of the tournament.

The sporting principle requires that a team from the First Division is to take the place. And now we again face financial problems.

The motor works in Naberezhny Chelny is having financial problems and KAMAZ is not ready to be propelled to the Premier League. Then comes Ural, but in Ekaterinburg the same problems have slowed down the reconstruction of the stadium.

And in Novotroistk the stadium id too small for the Premier League and if Nosta is promoted they will have to hold home matches in Orenburg.

"I cannot believe that there will be no more Khimki," president of the Russian Football Premier League Sergei Pryadkin. "I was in this town several days ago and was glad with their good infrastructure and beautiful stadium."

"I will hope till the very end that the problems of funding the team will be solved. As it would be a big loss for the Russian football."

"There are no official documents in the Football Premier League yet so I hope that the team will survive."
