MUTKO: CSKA TO PLAY FIRST NUMBER
Tomorrow in Luzhniki Russian champion and the Russian Cup holder -
Rubin and CSKA respectively are to compete for the SuperCup. The Minister
for Sport Vitaly Mutko shared his opinion on the coming match.

"SuperCup is the match that sets the tone of the whole
season, a bright show of the beginning of the spring," said the RFU
President Mutko.
"Obviously the trophy itself is very important for both teams competing
for it but the entire football community is looking forward to it no less
than the clubs for they have missed their favourite game for the winter
and want to understand what is the level of the teams before the regular
championship."
"No wonder all previous SuperCup matches were very interesting and
became real shows. And moreover there is a commercial constituent in the
match and in the nowadays situation every trophy is valuable."
"So the Saturday's match contains all elements of both show and sport."
"A match between country's champion and the Russian Cup holder is
always interesting. And if the Cup holder showed such a wonderful football
at the end of the season and at the beginning of this year like CSKA then
the champion wants it even more to prove his dominance."
"And of course everybody remembers the additional hidden motive when
CSKA crashed Rubin 4:0 in the next to last matchday of the championship
last year."
"Certainly Rubin as a very ambitious club will try to prove that
the result of that game was only an accident. But it won't be easy."
"The start of the Armymen in the UEFA Cup as well as the performance
there of Zenit shows that the Russian football has reached a new level.
We have not noticed it ourselves but Europe regards us differently."
"And six teams in European Cups became a standard and not a single
breakthrough. And the demand on our players is growing in the best Leagues."
"Arshavin and Pavlyuchenko became the first portent but foreign clubs
show interest to others Euro bronze winners as well. We became a real
power and even the strongest have to reckon with us."
"It is very difficult to give any predictions for the SuperCup game
especially in such a principal match. And moreover I don't like predicting."

Armymen like this style and are very good at this kind of game. Their
