ZICO CAN WIN HIS FIRST TROPHY IN RUSSIA TODAY
Ahead of today Super Cup fixture CSKA head coach Zico spoke to Sport

CSKA are to meet Premier League defending champions Rubin
Kazan in the Super Cup today in Moscow. Both sides will strike to make
a winning start to the Russian domestic season.
Today Moscow club head coach Zico will get a unique chance to win his
first trophy with his new team.
"I came to Russia to celebrate victories with my club", said
Zico to Sport Express. "One person can't win titles, because the
whole team participates in this process".
"To my mind, this game will be of great important for both clubs.
Maybe many people from different countries used to treat Super Cup as
a show, but their attitude has changed. Super Cup is a prestigious trophy".
"I watched several games of Rubin and I got an idea of players and
their style of playing football. However I understand that Rubin could
have changed something during winter break".
"I am convinced that only official games can give us knowledge of
the team, because trial matches are not significant at all. Such matches
don't give any points or titles".
"CSKA played twice against Aston Villa in UEFA Cup campaign, however
I don't think it can make us favorites. In any case we are well-prepared
for today battle, since Rubin is the Russian title-holder and we can't
but respect them".
"First of all I am concerned about my own team. As for Rubin, they
can shine both in attack and defence. In the other case they wouldn't
have won the championship".
"Public's interest in the club is determined by performance. I hope
supporters liked our fixtures with Aston Villa and I want to see more
people at the stands at the Super Cup".
