HIDDINK: POGREBNYAK'S GOAL IS FANTASTIC!
Guus Hiddink gave an interview to Sport Express and spoke about Russian
players' readiness for the World Cup-2010 qualifiers.

Yesterday Russian national team head coach Guus Hiddink
unveiled the list of players, who will prepare for the World Cup qualifiers
against Azerbaijan and Lichtenstein. After that he called to Sport Express
correspondent and congratulated Russian supporters with Premier League
kick-off.
"Modern technologies offer us opportunity to keep an eye on the world's
football", said Hiddink. "I saw goals and dangerous moments
of almost all games of the Russian Premier League matchday one".
"I have been delighted with Pavel Pogrebnyak's goal. It was really
fantastic! Dzagoev, Semak, Pogrebnyak, Saenko scored their goals at the
start of the season, while Sergei Ignashevich made a double. It seems
that all Russian internationals are in good form now, that can't but set
us optimistically ahead of crucial qualifiers".
"Andrei Arshavin also pleased his supporters with his first goals
in Arsenal. He managed to establish in the English Premier League as quickly
as possible, though it's rather hard to do".
"I watched Arsenal vs. Blackburn clash and I should note that Andrei
not only scored a goal, he dominated on the pitch. I always pay attention
to details, so I can say for sure that Arshavin get used to his new life
in England".
"Football experts and supporters appreciate him very much. Thanks
to our striker Russian football is valued better in Europe".
"Meanwhile Roman Pavlyuchenko missed Tottenham's match against Aston
Villa this weekend. He got regular practice in the club before, so I hope
he will play in the next game".
