Guus Hiddink says he is coming under increasing
pressure to stay on as Chelsea boss after a stunning start at Stamford
Bridge.
Hiddink has led the Blues to six wins from seven matches since he took
over from Luiz Felipe Scolari on 16 February and several members of the
Chelsea squad have said they would love the Dutchman to remain in charge
beyond the end of the campaign.
The 62-year-old is adamant he will resume full-time control of Russia
when the season ends but revealed he had been approached to continue with
Chelsea.
One avenue that could be open to Hiddink is to return to the club in November
if he fails to lead Russia to the 2010 World Cup.
Hiddink said: 'I will focus on Russia after this project but people say,
'Think about it, stay'. I enjoy it with the Russians but I do have a clause
that says we can stop in November if Russia don't qualify.
'Then, the Russian FA can choose another direction and I would also be
free to go.'
