"I have been in Russia for three days already and in
fact I there is nothing special in it," said the Arsenal forward.
"I just returned home into a familiar atmosphere and everything is
great."
"Moreover I had an opportunity to see my daughter after three months.
Meanwhile dad was away she found feet!"
"On the one hand it was a long time ago when I left Russia but on
the other hand it slipped away so quickly and unnoticed."
"At the moment I feel that every kind of mass media that covers sports
in any way tries to catch my every word. But I understand that it is only
temporal, now everybody is interested in a new topic but then the press
will be interested in me only if I keep playing well."
"And in the national team I see a kind of difference. Earlier I was
coming to the training camp and saw the same faces that were surrounding
me every day and now I came to see people I have not seen for two months."
"And moreover I got disaccustomed to the situation when everybody
in the team speaks Russian. And I missed our food."
"My injury itself is not serious, but I tore my leg in the place
that is most working. If I had had an opportunity to leave my leg in complete
rest for several days it would have healed long ago."
"But because I always scrape the wound the skinning process has run
over. Though I won't in any case prevent me from playing for the national
team."
"For me every game in a new team is very important and that is why
I played three days after the injury. I felt that I could and joined the
team."
"I did it not to win Brownie points with the supporters but because
I needed this game myself. If I understood that I could not play I would
not have done it."
"The more supporters on the stands, the better for the team. Of course
there are many Azerbaijani in Moscow and I want to call on Russian supporters
to come to the stadium and make it home stands. I hope they are ready
to support their national team."
"To tell the truth in every match I have the only goal to win. It
does not matter what team oppose us. We understand that even small countries
won't present us three points just for fun."
"If we achieve the necessary result than we can try and fool around
with the ball to please the spectators but before the result there we
won't be a bit relaxed."
