The defender of CSKA Vasily Berezutsky will most
likely replace the suspended Anyukov on the right wing in the coming World
Cup-2010 qualifier in Finland.

Vasily Berezutsky will probably change his position to
right defenceman in absence of Alexandr Anyukov though in all official
matches of the current season in CSKA and the national team he played
in the centre of defence.
"If the coaches put me on the wing than I will play on the wing,"
said Vasily. "I am ready to this turn of events."
"But at the same time I do not exclude the possibility that taking
into account my newly revealed scoring gift the coaches will put me in
attacking line, laughs the guard. I will prick the Finnish defence with
pleasure."
"I have not played as a right winger for quite a long time already
but I don't think I will have any problems on this position. After all
I spent many matches there and I know what and how I should do."
"I don't think that without Anyukov the traditional scheme of our
team will change a lot. Any serious team tries not step back from its
style and we are not exception."
"Of course Anyukov is a more attacking player and he likes to get
involved in the frontline. And I am focused on defence more and go into
the opponent's penalty area only when standard moments.'
"But we are to far ahead now for there is no starting eleven determined
yet. And I don't know whether I am going to play or whether I am going
to play on the right wing."
"The coming match in Helsinki will in any case be very tough. For
both of teams. While choosing the tactics the coaches will definitely
take into account the fact that we must win."
"Maybe the team will choose to act on counterattacks or on the contrary
try to move to the opponents half of the field. It is still enough time
before the match to decide but most likely our staff has already made
up their minds about the scheme for the match."
"We will do our best to make the match Russia vs. Germany in October
decisive in the chase for the first place in the group."
"To make it real we must win Finland now and then in September matches
against Liechtenstein and Wales get along without point losses."
