AKINFEEV: ARGENTINA IS TOP-LEVEL TEAM
Argentinean national team's attack is very strong
and tough difficulties await Russian defence today as two teams will meet
in a friendly international in Moscow.

Sport Express correspondent talked to Russia's goalkeeper
Igor Akinfeev.
"The name of our rivals doesn't have any impact on my preparations
for the game", said Akinfeev. "If we began thinking about their
strength and course of preparations will be interrupted".
"It's more interesting to play against strong challengers and professional
should be ready for all games. Wednesday match will be friendly and there
cannot be special mindset for it though it's always challenging to play
with such team as Argentina".
"Of course our supporters want only victory from us and we will do
our best to win. Match between national teams of this level is not exhibition
one at all and everybody will fight for victory".
"It's very important that we met each other again, recollected our
links on the pitch but we won't become weaker or stronger after this game".
"I don't see any sense in renew the lineup artificially. If our team
demonstrates worthy football we don't need to introduce changes in the
squad".
"Youngsters should prove their right to play in the national team
not by one or two successful matches but by stable performance in their
clubs. Our coaching staff give chances to many player, Hiddink invites
new people to t he training camps, let them feel the atmosphere of the
national team and show their best skills".
"Argentina is one of the strongest teams in the world. It doesn't
matter which place they occupy now and we need to treat them as top-level
team with the strongest players in the squad".
"To my mind brilliant career as a player is not the main quality
of head coach. If he can unite players with one target his former career
is not significant at all".
"I think that our sixth place in the rankings fully reflects Russia's
current form. Starting from the European championship we show results
which allow us to be so high".
"I came to the national team after CSKA's match against Amkar. I
have strange feelings because on one hand we won three points but on the
other hand we didn't show football, which our fans wait from us".
"I am hopeful that our results will improve very soon as everything
depends only on players. Reasons of our failures can be different. Someone
is tired and is afraid to tell the coach about it, someone loses concentration
or something else happened. However each of us wants to win and I can't
accuse my partners of careless attitude to their work".
