"Our play in the first half of the match was constraint but our youth
demonstrated their best capabilities after the break", said Russia's
coach Igor Kolyvanov at press conference.
"We had right to make seven substitutions and we planned to introduce
two or three players before half-time. Gatagov, Sosnin and Smolov reinforced
our team".
"It's a pity that Mamaev was red-carted with twenty minutes to go
but we proved that if we want we can defeat any team".
"We played well in the first half but lack of physical form told
upon our display"", said Italy's head coach Pierluigi Casiraghi.
Our season hasn't started yet and our players' form is far from ideal".
