GATAGOV SET TO PLAY IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Lokomotiv 18-year-old youngster Alan Gatagov made his debut in the first team three months ago and since then he managed to establish in the roster. Recent days became special for the player as he scored his debut goal in Premier League last Sunday and debuted in the Russian youth team on Wednesday.

"My wishes for this year have fully fulfilled", said the midfielder to Sport Express. "My next wish will be to play in the Champions League".

"I had some special feeling ahead of every match. I thought that I would have scored my first goal every time and it always didn't happen".

"Ahead of our match in Samara I had a good dream and understood that we would win. And we really sealed three points, I scored a goal and added an assist.

"When I was invited to the youth national team I couldn't believe that I would play in Igor Kolyvanov's team. Only when I came to the training base I understood that coaches counted on my services".

"I knew that Italian team shows very qualified football so we needed to demonstrate all our best qualities".

"Russia suffered a loss to Faroe Islands because we underestimated the opponent. In order to play with a minor team we need experience".

"Most of all I like Spanish and Italian championships so it was very interesting to play against Italy".
