Lokomotiv 18-year-old youngster Alan Gatagov made his debut
in the first team three months ago and since then he managed to establish
in the roster. Recent days became special for the player as he scored
his debut goal in Premier League last Sunday and debuted in the Russian
youth team on Wednesday.
"My wishes for this year have fully fulfilled", said the midfielder
to Sport Express. "My next wish will be to play in the Champions
League".
"I had some special feeling ahead of every match. I thought that
I would have scored my first goal every time and it always didn't happen".
"Ahead of our match in Samara I had a good dream and understood that
we would win. And we really sealed three points, I scored a goal and added
an assist.
"When I was invited to the youth national team I couldn't believe
that I would play in Igor Kolyvanov's team. Only when I came to the training
base I understood that coaches counted on my services".
"I knew that Italian team shows very qualified football so we needed
to demonstrate all our best qualities".
"Russia suffered a loss to Faroe Islands because we underestimated
the opponent. In order to play with a minor team we need experience".
"Most of all I like Spanish and Italian championships so it was very
interesting to play against Italy".
