"I don't think that the picture of the national squad
is so cheerless as it may seem," started the forward of Dynamo.
"Of course some players have problems in their clubs, others have
injures, still others fail to get to the starting lineup."
"But for the internationals the season has just started and everything
will change a hundred times during the season. And in general results
of the clubs have nothing to do with the national side."
"It depends on a man whether he can easily get rid of negative emotions
after some matches. For example I learnt to switch easily."
"It is clear that we all are distressed over the losses but the life
goes on. The match should be analyzed, and you must draw conclusions of
what you have done wrong."
"Probably you can also make claims against yourself for every player
understands was the match successful for him or not. But at the same time
you must always look into the future."
"And in the national team the mood always changes for the better
at once. The coaching staff created a wonderful emotional atmosphere.
Everybody jokes and smiles but most important we are united with a shared
objective."
"And we understand that there are millions of supporters after the
team and we have no right to let them down."
"In Dynamo the psychological state worsened after the home defeat
to Terek. Since that match we managed to win only once in Rostov-na-Donu."
"Of course it is bad for the team that wants to compete for the leading
positions in the Russian championship. Dynamo has very difficult matches
ahead and they are going to become determinative. In the coming four matches
we are to meet Spartak, CSKA, Saturn and Zenit."
"I don't think that our crisis began with the failure in the Champions
League with Celtic. After all we could have passed the Scotts by only
in the favourable concourse of circumstances."
"And what concerns the Europa League: all our clubs performed badly
there. Zenit for example failed to pull through a not very strong Portuguese
club."
"Our fiasco in the matches with CSKA Sofia was very painful. Having
the lead we suddenly began doing Lord knows what. And looking at the quality
of our football we deserved this stumbling out."
"We are going to St. Petersburg on Thursday and I am very happy for
I am coming home. I would like to show good football and I am sure the
team will be able to reach the necessary result."
"The last time I played at Petrovsky Stadium I made a hat trick against
Andorra and I would not be against repeating this achievement once more.
But more important is the fact that our national team should make one
more step to the final stage of the World Cup-2010."
