"First of all I want to say thanks to all the doctors
of Zenit," said Bystrov. "It was not clear whether I would participate
in the match against CSKA or not till the very last moment."
"I have a wrick of the side muscle. The injury still hurts but it
is good that I could play with it."
"Before the match I had only one training session together with the
main team and before I was training individually."
"Before the game we were thinking only about victory. CSKA was higher
in the standings and we must win."
"It was not too bad to play against the Army men. I am not going
to comment on my own game, let's other people do that fro me."
"CSKA is a good team and it is very difficult to oppose it. The match
was tense and interesting. I am happy we achieved a good result."
"My injury ached every time I combated with opponents. It was very
painful but possible to endure. I tried not to think about the pain. In
the first half I was kicked in the knee as well. But there was nothing
serious in it."
"When Kezman converted a penalty it was a very important goal. And
the first thought was not to concede at any cost. It was a match of two
leaders and any team could have turned the balance into their favour."
"When I played in Spartak games against CSKA were Moscow derbies.
It was unforgettable when there are fifty thousand supporters in Luzhniki.
But in general every match where you play against one of the leaders brings
a lot of emotions."
"The prospects of the team are to fight for a victory in every match.
That is our only goal."
