"We have no time to rest on our laurels after the first
match", said Sychev. "All our thoughts are about the return
fixture in Maribor".
"And what happened on Saturday had happened. We must calmly prepare
for the coming match and not worry about the things that happened earlier".
"Moreover we have not lost. After all why should we get do disappointed?
Of course it is vexing to concede a goal on the last minutes".
"But we should not make so much fuss about the situation. We just
need to once more outplay Slovenians. But now on the road".
"We conceded only once and let us not speculate what it would be
if we conceded two goals. There is no conjunctive mood in football. 'If
there had been' cannot change the score".
"I cannot say that we relaxed at the end of the match. We got tired.
And tried to play strictly in defence and not to concede".
"From the Slovenian squad I would not pick out any player in particular.
If their attacks had been more targeted I would probably distinguish somebody".
"But at the ending everything with Slovenia was chaotic. And for
the dear part of the match they stood in defence together. So this is
a team of a medium European level and we are to outplay them".
"Of course it is not so easy to score when there are eleven players
on defensive line but we managed to do it twice already so I think we
will be able to do this once more".
"Guus Hiddink did not criticize us after the match. On the contrary
he tried to support us somehow seeing how disappointed we were after the
Slovenian goal".
"The coach tried to put confidence into us stressing not the conceded
goal but the fact that we score ourselves. There is one more match ahead
that will put everything into its due place".
"We must just play our football without inventing something new and
without making it more complex on the field and I am sure we will able
to avoid a nervous ending and gain the necessary result".
"And I am expecting of this journey the ticket to South Africa for
the World Cup-2010".
