"To my mind Slovenians' plan for this game was tactically
brilliant and they surpassed our players at the end of the match",
said Tarpischev.
"I cannot say why Dzagoev didn't play on Saturday, but I am sure
that his participation would have make our team play more interesting
in attack".
"Most probably tactics for the match was right. However Slovenians
switched quickly from defence to attacks and our players didn't always
succeed in trap them".
"Visitors lacked only two or even one clear assist to score earlier
than on the 87th minute. That is why we didn't have any significant advantage".
"I didn't watch Slovenia playing in the World Cup qualifying campaign,
but in Moscow they played much stronger than I expected".
"Andrey Arshavin and Vladimir Bystrov didn't show their best at Luzhniki
and it's mainly merit of our opponents' defenders who didn't leave them
enough space for attacks".
"Diniyar Bilyaletdinov played well and it's impossible not to mention
his emotional boost. Maybe Slovenians didn't expect it from him as they
though Arshavin would lead Russian team".
"I am not 100% sure but I think that I would have given Alan Dzagoev
an opportunity to play in Maribor in return match on Wednesday".
"However first of all I am worried about players' physical form ahead
of this game. It's impossible to improve physical conditions in three
days and Slovenians can play better at home".
"Players' physical form is result of coaches' work during the whole
year".
"Russian football match schedule is not very touch comparing with
leading European championships, so our players shouldn't be so tired now.
I think that it's consequence of spare basic preparation in our clubs".
"I don't suppose that Kek will stake on attacking style in Maribor,
because his team doesn't have any star players capable to take the initiative".
"That is why they are likely to play the same football like in Moscow
and focus on defence. However they can pose enough problems to the Russians".
