"On the one hand it is good that we advanced to Europa
League," said the midfielder of the Russian national team. "But
on the other hand we lost to Inter and there is nothing pleasant about
it."
"We did not pay attention to the match in Kyiv [Dynamo Kyiv lost
to Manchester United 1:2]. We found out the result only after the match."
"The team that scores gets the prize. We had good moments. But the
more professional and masterful team converted their chances while we
failed to make use of them."
"I agree that the class of Inter is higher than ours."
"The absence of the three leading players told on the result as well
as the end of the season. Actually it is possible to compete with the
current Inter but we lacked freshness I think."
"Optimal physical conditions would be better for us but we did our
best. Though the result is rather logical."
"We had a conversation with the management of Rubin for prolonging
my contract but we have not signed it yet. But still there is a season
under the contract yet."
"When we will seal the agreement you will be able to say that the
next season I am to stay in Kazan."
"Our team is growing and developing. I think in any tournament including
Europa League we must set maximum goals. Whether we managed to do this
or not is a different question."
"But we will do our best in every match."
"We have not seen the match Besiktas vs. CSKA, in the hotel a different
match Juventus vs. Bayern was broadcast. So we watched CSKA on the Internet
together with Wolfsburg - Manchester United fixture."
"When the matches were over I decided not to disturb the guys and
just sent them an sms with congratulations."
"To sum up our performance in the Champions League it was good. It
is pleasant we will continue to play in this European Cups cycle - in
Europa League."
"It is an additional experience that will help Rubin in the future.
Though at the moment I do not have full satisfaction."
