According to Tuttosport, Russia coach Guus Hiddink was spotted
at Malpensa airport yesterday along with Juventus directors, as his move
to the Bianconeri continues to be touted throughout the press.
A few days ago, the tactician's agent had denied the former Chelsea coach
would be joining the Italian giants, but this time has offered no refutation.
This could mean that coach Ciro Ferrara's days are numbered. Many of the
club's fans were disappointed with the first half of the season, as they
lost significant ground in the Scudetto race and were knocked out of the
prestigious Champions League competition.
Hiddink would likely be welcomed with open arms by the supporters, in
hope his experience and track record will quickly turn around their fortunes.
In order to join La Vecchia Signora, the 63-year-old would have to leave
his post as the manager of the Russian national team.
