ARSHAVIN EYES FITNESS 'MIRACLE'

Arsenal midfielder Andrey Arshavin says the Gunners need
a full-strength team if they are going to challenge for honours this season.
The 28-year-old Russia international is desperate to win either the Premier
League or Champions League in his first full season at the Emirates.
With Arsenal currently just three points below league leaders Chelsea
in the table and due to play Porto in the first knockout round of the
Champions League, silverware is within the grasp of Arsene Wenger's side.
But with injured trio Cesc Fabregas, Robin van Persie and Nicklas Bendtner
sidelined, Arshavin reveals it will be a hard task unless all their stars
are fit.
"My greatest dream is to win a title with my club," he said.
"Naturally, it would be better if we won the Premier League or the
Champions League.
"But to do this we need a miracle - which is to start playing finally
with our best line-up! I do not think we have had it once so far this
season."
Despite the injuries, Arshavin does not believe Wenger will make additions
in the January transfer window - certainly not for the time being.
"I have a feeling that Arsenal are not going to buy any new players
in the winter transfer window," he added.
"Or, if we do, it will be at the very last moment."
Arshavin has scored six Premier League goals in 16 starts so far this
season, however, he admits he has been carrying a knock to his right foot
lately.
He said: "Although my right foot hurts me much less than before,
I still try to avoid kicking the ball with it during training."
