At the training camp of Rubin in Turkey Bukharov visited
the local doctors and it did not bring any happiness for they did not
take off the splint.
But on the other hand Alexandr will be almost surely play against Hapoel
in the Europa League.
"The doctors said that I have to wear the plaster for another month,"
specified the Rubin forward. "Nevertheless I am training in the main
group and preparing to play against Israeli."
"Our team is to start the season very early - in the middle of February.
And the coaches warned us that we do not have much time. We are to prepare
differently with Guenther [the Australian fitness coach Guenther Gorenzel
joined the club only in December]."
"The Spaniard Raul specializes in rehabilitation more. As to Guenther,
Austrians as well as Germans are very strict in their work and sometimes
even cruel."
"He prepares his exercises this way. I think it will be hard sometimes.
But we will endure it. After all we know what we need it for."
"This winter is rather cold in Russia but I do not fear that we can
be left without support in Kazan in February. It will be a kind of a test
for those who love the club."
"We have never played so early before but we will try to prepare
well and show the football that brings result. And our people will help
at the stands I hope. And it will probably get warmer."
"During the off-season half of the squad of Rubin was almost bought
out if looking through the press. And there was nothing about me. It is
because I am not going to leave Kazan."
"And it is not just words, it is the real judgment of the situation.
Kazan is my home, the place where I feel comfortable. I would have been
able to leave Rubin only if they have thrown me away."
"One of the most crucial questions now is who will head the Russian
national team. Personally I will be hackneyed and say that I want Hiddink
to stay."
"There is no footballer who speaks of the Dutch negatively. As far
as I know everybody in the national side wants Hiddink to stay."
"Guus created this team and they experienced successes together building
a friendly and close-knit team. I could have judged the situation as if
I was an onlooker when I got capped. It is natural people want to keep
the coach."
