Andrei Arshavin was pleased with how Arsenal bounced back
to beat Liverpool last night.
The Russian went off injured in a 1-0 win for Arsenal, who managed to
reduce the gap between themselves and leaders Chelsea to six points.
On his personal website, he said: "We were not afraid to play, the
whole team was well co-ordinated. If I can say so, all Arsenal players
played the same football, that is we understood each other and combined.
"I think there were nearly equal teams playing. I liked the way we
played."
The Gunners were handed a lifeline in their title challenge as both Man
Utd and Chelsea dropped points on the same evening.
Arshavin feels his side are back in the title race, but says he believes
they will have to win all twelve of their remaining games.
He continued: "After these results, it looks possible. The gap was
reduced to six points.
"Of course, today's result is good for us, but if we want to be champions
we have to win all our remaining games. It's difficult to say whether
it's possible."
