"I cannot summarize our two training camps, because
we are to play several trial matches", said Shirokov. "On the
other hand, we have fulfilled the whole program planed by our coaches".
"The only unpleasant thing about this preparation camp is that it
has been lasting for too long. I have a feeling that we've been here for
one month already".
"Zenit suffered one painful defeat to Polonia in La Manga. In this
case result is not the most important thing, though we always want to
win. Our loss was really painful, because we could have won that game".
"Our head coach doesn't criticize us for defeats, but we will need
to win the next two matches. Players work out the winners' psychology
in trial games too".
"Spalletti watched Zenit games before our trainings, so he likely
paid attention to several players and staked on them. Now he wants to
try as many players as possible to get additional information about other
Zenit players. I think he has already determined the main group of the
roster".
"As for current problems of FC Moskva and Krylya Sovetov, I feel
pity for these clubs and mostly for their players, since they are not
to blame for their team's troubles".
"Samaran club is likely to be blamed for leading their team to these
problems. I mean their management, but not players, who are not guilty
at all".
"Alaniya has new ambitious coach. I had worked with him and I know
him well. He will set his players for victory in all Premier League games".
