"After a good autumn I occurred on the bench and I
have not played for more than two weeks already," said Bilyaletdinov.
"Though I feel that I am in good from now."
"My display in the Cup match against Birmingham where I was substituted
(and have not appeared on the field ever since) was actually bad but the
match was bad for the entire team."
"And prior to this match there was an excellent game against Manchester
City and I think it has been the best for me in several months."
"So I see no prerequisites for my staying in reserves. But in any
case the coach is the one to decide it."
"It is absolutely untrue that I asked the coach for a replacement
in the match against Birmingham. We had a very bad first half and in the
second looked better though failed to equalize. And it happened so that
this improvement happened after I was replaced."
"Probably here lies the main explanation of my move to the reserves.
Moreover we won the next two matches and one should not change the winning
squad."
"I do not know how I look like from the outside but I feel no tiredness.
Moreover in Russia after the spring part of the championship I had a six
week break because of the injury."
"And I started to play regularly only in July so I cannot be fatigued."
"I am not oppressed with being in the reserves at the moment. At
trainings I am working hard according to the coach's words so I hope that
the things will straighten out in a while."
"I feel that I am a part of the team already. There are no problems,
my relations with the teammates are good and all language barriers are
overcome already."
"There is nothing left in my English life that I cannot get used
to. At first it was hard to endure the excitement before entering the
pitch. Overcrowded stadiums and extraordinary frenzy about football in
this country presuppose some special responsibility. It is simply impossible
to play in front of this audience at half strength."
"My English was rather good when I came here but still I experienced
some difficulties at first. There are many different dialects here and
even our coach speaks with a specific accent and I had to adapt to it.
But now it is all right."
"I am not afraid of the obligatory English exam for all soccer players.
I have seen what types of exercises are there and they are all quite simple."
"I used to say that after Russia the country number two for me was
Czech Republic. And now the situation is changing. England is dashing
to the second spot and I hope it will take this place in the nearest future."
"In any case I enjoy this day even notwithstanding the fact that
I got in the reserves and I want to believe that it will not be long."
"Of course I have some kind of excitement when on the pitch. But
I think every footballer has it. And in general I really enjoy it here:
in England the attitude to football is the one that makes it a real Royal
sport."
"I can only say that at the moment I really pity that I had not come
here three years ago. And that does not mean that I feel old already."
"But here is football one really wants to play. As for my last years
I cannot say that the time was squandered but I could have spent it with
much more benefit. And moreover it is easier to adapt in a new championship
in a younger age."
"My brightest impression of 2009 is two goals against Slovenia at
home though they turned useless. And the main tasks for 2010 are to finish
the championship well, have a good summer holiday and then encouraged
by good football of the World Cup achieve a quality breakthrough next
season."
