Praise for Pav
Harry Redknapp revealed that Roman Pavlyuchenko
showed signs in training in the build-up to Wigan that he was ready to
burst back onto the goalscoring scene.

The Russian striker did just that with two late goals to
secure a 3-0 win at the DW Stadium on Sunday.
'Pav' entered the fray for fellow goalscorer Jermain Defoe in the 74th
minute and was celebrating 10 minutes later after finishing well from
Luka Modric's pass.
He did it again from a tight angle in the third minute of injury time
as we collected another three vital points on our travels in the Barclays
Premier League - we're fourth after Sunday's results.
"He trained well this week and, for me, he was the best player in
training on Thursday and Friday," said Harry.
"He worked hard, showed a great attitude and it was great to see
him come off the bench and score twice.
"Technically, he's a top-class player with great quality and he will
always score goals.
"I said to him 'go out there and show us what you've been doing in
training' and he did that. He was excellent."
