'Super Pav', as the Tottenham boss now calls the Russian,
has forced his way into the reckoning after his two late goals in Sunday's
3-0 win over Wigan.
Pavlyuchenko, 28, has been constantly linked with a move away from White
Hart Lane.
He has not begun a Premier League game this season but is set for his
third cup start alongside Eidur Gudjohnsen.
Redknapp said: "I just pick him on what I see him do every day in
training, his attitude, and that decides whether he plays.
"Last Thursday, Friday and -Saturday, he was the best player in training.
"If he can score some goals for us between now and the end of season,
that's a real bonus for us.
"He was terrific last week and I threw him on at the weekend. He
would have played the other week.
"He came on against Leeds United and scored but then he got injured."
Redknapp is without Ledley King and winger Aaron Lennon, who has suffered
a setback on his road to recovery and could be out for another four weeks.
Bolton boss Owen Coyle is ready to rest a number of players with his focus
on avoiding relegation.
And that will mean a start for Stuart Holden, 24, who joined the club
on a short-term deal from Houston Dynamo only last month.
His dad Brian, who died of cancer a year ago, grew up just three miles
from Bolton.
Holden said: "I have used his inspiration to influence my career
in a positive way."
