Lokomotiv Moscow will again try to sign Roman Pavlyuchenko
in the summer. They claim Tottenham's in-form Russia striker is keen to
return home.
The 28-year-old refuses to discuss his future after a run of six goals
in four games, but the Russians are still confident of landing their man.
The Moscow club's president Nikolay Naumov said: 'We have spoken to Roman
about this. He still wants to return to Russia and if he does return,
he will only come to our team.'
Lokomotiv will not launch another bid before the Russian transfer window
closes this week, but came close to agreeing a ?10.5million switch last
month.
Naumov said the deal had stalled when Spurs manager Harry Redknapp objected.
