Andrei Arshavin asked if rain is angel's tears in grilling
by crazy fans
Arsenal striker Andrei Arshavin probably gets
asked some pretty strange things in interviews - but few can possibly
compare to the latest Q&A on his website.

weird questions in his webchat Photo metro.co.uk

In one of the most bizarre interviews ever conducted, Russian
fans of the former Zenit St Petersburg striker were invited to submit
questions for their hero.
The organisers surely couldn't have anticipated the type of responses
they would get.
Among the posers put to the 28-year-old were such gems as:
- "What would you prefer as a gift: A lot of balloons; a million
scarlet roses, or something else more down-to-earth and expensive?"
- "In what order would you place the following animals: a tiger,
a cow, a pig, a horse, and a sheep?"
- "What do people need pain for?"
- "A gypsum hippopotamus in Zenit uniform (almost in human size)
has been installed in the playground near our house. Can I tell my child
his name is Andrei in your honor?"
But perhaps the best and most off-the-wall question was posed by a user
calling himself simply '1009', who asked: "Some people say that the
rain comes when the angels cry; some people say that it is a natural process.
What do you think?"
To be fair to the diminutive dribbler, his answers were always to the
point - which, in itself, made for great reading.
On the question about rain, Arshavin replied: "I do not think it's
angels' tears. It's simply a natural phenomenon."
He also thinks people need pain to help them "not to forget they
are mere mortals" and agreed to the parent wanting to name a hippo
Andrei "If it pleases your child".
The quizzing of Arshavin also revealed the Gunners hitman has an unhealthy
disdain for pigs.
In response to the list of animals, he scoffed at the notion that those
curly-tailed wonders could be included with a tiger, a cow, a horse, and
a sheep.
"A pig - it will always get the last place!" he exclaimed.
"A tiger, a cow, a horse, a sheep. And I'll repeat that a pig is
always the last one, because it is a pig."
He also wants "a million kisses from the people he loves" rather
than balloons, roses or 'something expensive'. Good for you, Andrei.
