ADVOCAAT: DUTCH TEAM IS MUCH STRONGER THAN IN 1994
Head coach of the Russian national team Dick
Advocaat arrived to Moscow yesterday and talked to Sport Express correspondent
during the break in Lev Yashin Cup opener between Dynamo Moscow and Dynamo
Minsk.

"It was just a friendly match, moreover fans and players
have some problems because of hot weather", Advocaat said. "This
game has one big advantage, as there are no vuvuzelas like in South Africa".
"It's not easy to assess players by trial matches. Moreover I think
that these players will show higher level of football on Saturday when
Dynamo Moscow play against Dynamo Kyiv".
"But the opening game was also important, as it gave me information
about skills of several players".
"My plans for future haven't changed. I will visit Dynamo's match
against their clubmates from Kyiv on Saturday and then I will depart to
Saint Petersburg for Sunday game between Zenit and Anzhi".
"During my trip to South Africa I managed to watch Slovakia's matches
against Italy and the Netherlands. I managed to watch other games too,
for example Germany vs. Ghana clash".
"Back in 1994 the Dutch team suffered 2:3 loss to Brazil, but Brazilian
team was much stronger at that time. Now Holland is stronger than sixteen
years ago, and in any case their clash on Friday will be very interesting".
"Great number of referees' mistakes could be explained by high tempo
of football. I noted that referees worked on good level in the first week
of the tournament and then level of their refereeing became lower".
"I think that Argentina is the main favourite of World Cup, because
they have such player as Lionel Messi in their squad".
