ARSHAVIN: I CAME HERE TO SHOW MY BEST QUALITIES
Captain of the Russian national team Andrey Arshavin
arrived to Saint Petersburg for the team's first training camp under Dick
Advocaat yesterday.

"I am injured now, but I don't know whether it will
let me play at Petrovsky or not", Arshavin said to Sport Express.
"I think that it will be clear whether I will play against Bulgaria
or not on the day of game".
"I felt pain during our match with Milan at Emirates Cup. I kept
on training after that, but my participation in Russia's Wednesday game
is still open to question".
"Those players, who didn't work with Advocaat in Zenit, won't have
any problems with him, because his requirements are easy to understand".
"If I think about becoming a coach, I will pay attention to Dick's
ability to build his relations with the management in the way to get the
most comfortable conditions for his players and Guus's attitude to players
and his humour. To my mind their coaching views are similar and we will
continue playing the same football like under Hiddink".
"I liked that Hiddink treated all players equally regardless of their
leaders' status or status of debutant. He always punished players equally
and discipline in the team was perfect".
"I came to this training camp with desire to work and try to show
my best qualities. When you get pleasure from playing football, it will
bring results".
