Agent: Spurs are pricing Pavlyuchenko out of a move
Roman Pavlyuchenko's agent says Tottenham are pricing his client out of
a move away from the club.
The Russian is thought to have been unhappy at White Hart Lane for some
time, as he has struggled to get first team football under boss Harry
Redknapp.
Now his agent Oleg Artemov says Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is hampering
any chance of a move for the striker by demanding too much for him.
"We can't agree about the price with Mr Levy, that's all," Artemov
told Sport-Express.
"He values Pavlyuchenko according to his own gauge: how much the
club spent on him, the number of his goals and he also wants some profit
on him. I don't really know how he's counting."
Artemov says there are offers for his client, but that no deal will happen
until Tottenham move on their asking price.
"These offers are still valid, the problem is that we can't agree
about the financial conditions with none of them (the interested teams).
I repeat: everything is up to the Tottenham president."
