Everton Football Club Midfielder and Russian national player Diniyar Bilyaletdinov,
who is to sign a contract with Moscow's Spartak soon, said goodbye to
his English team on Twitter.
On Monday, it became known that Bilyaletdinov, who spent five-and-a-half
years at Russian Locomotive and then moved to Everton, will soon play
for Spartak. On Wednesday evening, Everton announced that it had agreed
to sell the midfielder to the Moscow team.
"It's time to say goodbye, thanks to everyone who supported me these
last few years. I had a great time at Everton. Thank you very much to
the team managers, staff and fans! Good luck, Everton," Bilyaletdinov
tweeted.
Bilyaletdinov is soon expected at the Moscow team's training camp in Spain,
where he will sign a contract on passing a medical examination.
Bilyaletdinov played for Locomotive from 2004 to 2009. In August 2009,
the midfielder moved to Everton, where only the first season was successful
for the Russian player. He played 77 games for the English club, scoring
9 goals.
In 2008, Bilyaletdinov won a bronze medal during the European Championships,
playing for the Russian national team.
